The Collingwood Town Hall has recently been upgraded and was re-opened in July 2014. The centrepiece of this grand building is its ballroom which is ideal for theatre performances, musical productions, and warehouse sales.
First opened in 1887, the Collingwood Town Hall boasts impressive 19th century gold rush style classical design. The foyer entry and interior of the ballroom were refurbished in Art Deco style in 1938.
The ballroom space can hold 500 people (800 cocktail style) in the hall and 300 in the balcony.
All functions must finish by 11pm Sunday-Thursday and by 1am Friday and Saturday.
A minimum of eight weeks notice is preferred for all potential bookings.
Hirers must supply their own cutlery, crockery, glassware and linen
Hirers may choose their own caterer; names of recommended caterers can be provided upon request
This is not a licensed venue. Hirers must apply for a temporary limited liquor licence if they intend to sell alcohol. If a hirer wishes to supply alcohol free of charge or to allow their guests to bring their own alcohol, they must submit a Partysafe form to Victoria Police.
